1. What is Envision (Datathon)?

Envision is a 24-hournational-level Datathon that challenges participants to solve real-world problems using machine learning, AI, and data science techniques.


2. Who can participate in the event?

The event is open to engineering students (first-year to final-year) across India. Participants can register as teams of 2-4 members.


3. What is the mode of participation?

Envision 2.0 is an offline event that will take place at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur.


4. What is the registration fee?

The registration fee is as follows: ₹350 for a team of 2 members ₹400 for a team of 3 members ₹450 for a team of 4 members.


5. What is the prize pool for the event?

The total prize pool is ₹50,000, with ₹30,000 for the 1st prize and ₹20,000 for the 2nd prize.


6. What are the important dates for the event?

Registration starts: 24th December Problem statement release: 13th January Workshop: 17th & 18th January Event Day: 20th & 21st January.


7. How will the event rounds be conducted?

TThe event will have four rounds: Round 1: Data Collection and Conversion (includes 1st elimination) Round 2: Data Cleaning and Solution Planning Round 3: Model Building and Solution Development Round 4: Presentation and Visualization.


8. How are teams shortlisted for the next round?

After Round 1, the results and shortlisted teams will be announced based on data submission and a mini quiz.


9. Can I participate individually?

No, individual participation is not allowed. Teams must consist of 2-4 members.


10.How can I register for the event?

Registrations can be done online starting from 24th December and will remain open till the day of the event. Participants can register through the official website or by filling out the Google Form provided by the organizers.


11. Is there a workshop for participants?

Yes, a workshop will be conducted on 17th and 18th January, covering topics like data collection, preprocessing, and model building.


12. What if I face issues during the event?

Dedicated organizers and volunteers will be available at the venue to assist you with any technical or logistical issues.
